Who is arloe?
We make swimwear and activewear in one fabric, for the pool, the sea, the studio and everything in between.
We started in 2021 with a simple idea: build everything around a fabric most swimwear doesn't use. That fabric is EVO®, a yarn made from castor oil, a plant-based raw material. The same fabric runs through our swim and our activewear, so you can move from one to the other without it feeling like a different brand.
Our newest pieces are cut and sewn in Portugal, in small, considered runs. Earlier collections were made in Italy. We keep the batches small on purpose, so a colour you love is worth not waiting on.

Sustainability
Our fabric
EVO® is a castor oil–based yarn. Castor is a plant-based, renewable raw material. Swim and activewear are made from the same fabric.
Made in Portugal, on purpose
Every Arloe piece, down to the labels, is made in Portugal. We work with a workshop we know, so we can stand behind the quality of what we make.
Small batches, by design
We cut close to the fabric to limit waste, and what's left over gets reused rather than thrown out: old curtains have become one-of-a-kind pouches, labels are recycled polyester and hang tags are recycled paper. We make in small runs, so we make what we expect to sell and not more.
